The Church

We have a 1933 Church on the property, that was moved to Waiheke, from Towai in Northland. Check out the church’s journey.

Anyone staying on the property is most welcome to visit the church, for quiet contemplation. Please note it does not have any electricity, so take a torch at night time!

The building is over 80 years old and the floor is original kauri timber. This can be easily damaged, so please remove your shoes when entering the church.  Please do not play the organ, as it is quite fragile.

People can use the church for private ceremonies, for up to 50 people. This is available free of charge, for groups staying in Pegasus Lodge.
